Successful day at the North Area Grades for 3 of our gymnasts!
Megan and Lois passed their Regional Grade 3 and Francessa passed her National Grade 2 warm-up ready to compete in Cardiff at the Welsh National Grades in a couple of weeks. Well done girls!
Tumble & Vault Competition 2022
On Sunday 27th November 2022 we hosted our annual Tumble and Vault competition at Maldwyn Dragons Gymnastics Club. We had nearly 100 gymnasts take part from both Maldwyn Dragons Gymnastics Club and Llandrindod Dragons Gymnastics Club and it was a huge success! All gymnasts were able to showcase their skills and be awarded with certificates, medals and trophies. It was a great way to end the competition year with many happy faces all round!
We must say a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make the day run like clockwork! We couldn’t have done it without you and we are extremely grateful š Thank you!
Welsh GymSpire Finals
November 2022
After an extremely successful regional competition in Llanelli in October, 13 of our girls qualified to represent the West Area at the National Finals in Cardiff on the 5th and 6th November. It was a great experience for them all to compete as part of a team with gymnasts from a variety of clubs and they did us proud!
Regional GymSpire Competition
October 2022
We had a fantastic day at Llanelli Gymnastics Club for the Regional GymSpire Competition. All the gymnasts worked so hard in preparation for this competition and it really showed on the day! From our 6 year olds to our 15 year olds, they did themselves proud with plenty of awards, medals and trophies to come home with.

Team Cambrian Championships in Neath Afan, July 2022
Some of our gymnasts travelled to Neath Afan to compete in the Cambrian Championships – a rainbow themed competition with coloured teams. This was the first competition this year for some of our gymnasts, with great results:

Mid Wales Cheer competition, July 2022
So so so proud of my Diamonds girls 
! You smashed your routines with sparkling cheer spirit & came home with a trophy for every routine entered! It was amazing to see the bond you have as a team & how each & everyone of you have so much confidence in yourselves 
. Well done to coach Lily who has kept the team going while Iām away with bubba, all while completing her A-levels!! Love you all girls goooo Diamonds!!! 
Welsh Gymnastics Gymfest 2022
Squad gymnasts aged 5-18 years old, travelled to the Welsh institute of sport to perform in Welsh Gymnastics Gymfest 2022. Maldwyn Dragons performed two routines ā ‘The Charleston Ladies’ and ‘The Weather Girls’. The girls had a lovely time performing and even won the best costume and prop trophy!
