On the 15th and 16th of July our squad gymnasts travelled up to Deeside Gyumnastics Club to compete in the annual Deeside Sets competition. The girls performed extremely well and looked amazing in their new club leotards!
Here are all the results…

1st April 2023 – Sport Wales Cardiff
Francessa Humphreys performed her heart out on the 1st April at the National Sports Centre in Cardiff and passed her National Grade 2 with a commended. She had an excellent competition where she performed against the whole of Wales and came away with 2nd on Vault, 5th on Range and Conditioning and 8th overall.
We are so proud of how well Francessa performed on the big stage, she has worked so hard for this and her focus and dedication really did pay off!
Congratulations Francessa!!
On Sunday 27th November 2022 we hosted our annual Tumble and Vault competition at Maldwyn Dragons Gymnastics Club. We had nearly 100 gymnasts take part from both Maldwyn Dragons Gymnastics Club and Llandrindod Dragons Gymnastics Club and it was a huge success! All gymnasts were able to showcase their skills and be awarded with certificates, medals and trophies. It was a great way to end the competition year with many happy faces all round!
We must say a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make the day run like clockwork! We couldn’t have done it without you and we are extremely grateful ๐ Thank you!
After an extremely successful regional competition in Llanelli in October, 13 of our girls qualified to represent the West Area at the National Finals in Cardiff on the 5th and 6th November. It was a great experience for them all to compete as part of a team with gymnasts from a variety of clubs and they did us proud!
We had a fantastic day at Llanelli Gymnastics Club for the Regional GymSpire Competition. All the gymnasts worked so hard in preparation for this competition and it really showed on the day! From our 6 year olds to our 15 year olds, they did themselves proud with plenty of awards, medals and trophies to come home with.
Excellent job girls, well done!
